Month in brief
In 2026-07, Schema.org adoption was flat at 5,545 terms overall, with 958 Types and 4,587 Properties. The tier mix nevertheless improved at the top: 52 terms were in 10M+ domains, up 1, and 156 terms were in the combined 100K+ range, up 2.
Notable tier moves
The most visible climbers were Article and EducationalOccupationalCredential, both moving from 1M - 10M→10M+ and 10K - 100K→100K - 1M, respectively. Other notable rises included AskAction, BusTrip, ChemicalSubstance, and Affiliation-related and commerce-oriented Properties such as availabilityEnds and award.
Tier share over time
The distribution remains strongly long-tailed: 4,217 terms are still in < 1K domains, compared with just 52 terms in 10M+ domains. The 1K - 10K tier holds 575 terms, while the middle tiers thin out progressively through 424 in 10K - 100K, 173 in 100K - 1M, and 104 in 1M - 10M.
At the high end, the 10M+ set is small but meaningful, with 16 Types and 36 Properties. Properties dominate every bucket numerically, and the long tail is especially property-heavy at the lowest tier, where 3,747 Properties sit below 1K domains versus 470 Types.
Properties continue to make up the clear majority of Schema.org usage, accounting for 4,587 of 5,545 terms, while Types contribute 958. The balance is similar in the eligible set: 228 Properties and 347 Types are Google-eligible, for 575 eligible terms overall.
At the top tiers, the composition is still property-led in absolute terms, but Types are notably present as well. In 10M+, there are 16 Types and 36 Properties; in the broader 100K+ range, the total is 208 terms, with 61 Types and 147 Properties.

Net movement was positive in the upper tiers: 44 terms rose and 4 terms declined. The strongest gains were concentrated in the high tiers, helping lift the topTier count to 52 and the highTier count to 156.
