June 2026

June 2026 was stable at the headline level: the catalog remained at 5,545 terms, with Types at 958 and Properties at 4,587. The most visible change was higher concentration at the top of the distribution, as the 10M+ tier expanded by 8 terms to 51 and the 100K+ tiers together became denser.

Among the notable movers, businessFunction (Property), BuyAction (Type), and referenceQuantity (Property) all rose from 10K - 100K to 1M - 10M, while address (Property) and availability (Property) moved from 1M - 10M to 10M+. Declines were limited: LiveBlogPosting (Type) and masthead (Property) both moved from 10K - 100K to 1K - 10K, and purchaseDate (Property) moved from 1K - 10K to < 1K.

Tier share over time

The distribution still has a pronounced long-tail shape. The < 1K bucket dominates with 4,232 terms, or more than three-quarters of the total, while the 10M+ bucket contains only 51 terms. Between those extremes, the middle tiers thin out steadily: 572 terms in 1K - 10K, 422 in 10K - 100K, 165 in 100K - 1M, and 103 in 1M - 10M.

Properties are more heavily concentrated in the low tiers than Types: 3,757 Properties sit below 1K, compared with 475 Types. At the top end, the 10M+ set remains relatively small but meaningful, with 15 Types and 36 Properties; the 1M - 10M tier adds another 34 Types and 69 Properties, showing that the upper distribution is broader for Properties in absolute terms while Types remain comparatively scarce.

The overall mix remains Property-heavy: 4,587 Properties versus 958 Types. That balance is reflected across the tiers, especially in the long tail where Properties outnumber Types by a wide margin in < 1K, 1K - 10K, and 10K - 100K.

At the top end, Properties also lead in absolute count: 36 of the 51 terms in 10M+ are Properties, and 69 of the 103 terms in 1M - 10M are Properties. Types are still present throughout the high tiers, but the composition shows that Properties account for most of the upper-tier breadth as well as most of the overall catalog.

Tier migration

Month over month, the biggest net gains were at the top of the hierarchy. The 10M+ tier gained 8 terms overall, and the 1M - 10M tier also strengthened as several terms moved upward into it. By contrast, the lower tiers absorbed the few declines: 10K - 100K lost terms to both 1K - 10K and 1M - 10M, and 1K - 10K also lost one term to < 1K.

The most notable climbers were businessFunction (Property), BuyAction (Type), and referenceQuantity (Property), each moving from 10K - 100K to 1M - 10M. address (Property) and availability (Property) climbed from 1M - 10M to 10M+, while AutoRental (Type), BarOrPub (Type), Casino (Type), and Certification (Type) moved up one tier from 1K - 10K or 10K - 100K into stronger visibility bands. On the decline side, LiveBlogPosting (Type) and masthead (Property) both fell from 10K - 100K to 1K - 10K, and purchaseDate (Property) slipped from 1K - 10K to < 1K.
